Westchester County is a diverse suburb of New York City yet its law enforcement departments lag in being representative of the population.

After years of frustration with being passed over, several brave minority officers came together to form this group to not only attract diverse candidates to the field of law enforcement, but also ensure opportunities are equally given to qualified minorities in addition to a promotion process that is fair.

The WCMDSA leadership is comprised of law enforcement officers of various cultures from multiple law enforcement departments in New York state. Furthermore, the organization is proud to have the support of various judges and lawyers in the Hudson Valley.
